Wow didn't know a sport could have so many rules, hand signals, and minor/major penalties.
The most common misconception of Roller Derby is that the girls just go out and all out beat each other this is NOT TRUE yes you will get hurt playing but it is a full contact sport and what do you expect. From what most of the Derby Girls I have talked work real jobs and all of them pay to play so no one is really out to destroy you so to say......
